Student leader, club president, and first-time filmmaker.
I run for things, I start things, and I finish them. Everything below is dated, and somebody other than me can vouch for all of it.
Every entry says when it happened and who granted, elected or witnessed it — so none of it has to be taken on my word.
Office of the New York State Attorney General
New York State’s award for commitment, character, and courage. A school may put forward no more than two students in a year, and I was one of the two Garden City sent.
National Geographic Society
A one-minute film proposing a real fix for an environmental problem, open to students 13 to 18 anywhere in the world. Nobody assigned it to me. I wrote it, shot it, cut it, and submitted it.
Garden City Middle School
I led the club whose entire job is making sure nobody gets left out — setting the agenda, running the meetings, and doing the follow-through in the weeks between them.
I’m a student at Garden City High School, graduating in 2030. Most of what I care about comes down to the same thing: making sure the people who usually don’t get heard actually do.
I have not published anything here yet. When I write my first post it shows up here — nothing stands in for it in the meantime.
If you’re reading an application of mine, or you want to work on something together, email is the best way to reach me.
